WHEN PEOPLE think of Ibiza, most think of a party place of nightclubs and late, late nights. The island is definitely known for its nightlife, but there is also another side to Ibiza: charming quiet villages, sandy beaches, yoga retreats, boutique hotels, restaurants and shops, and even secluded coves along the coast.
ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST recently featured the country home of Leslie Fremar, and the A-frame living room with its dramatic stone fireplace and cosy country kitchen were the things that first caught our eye. Fremar, a fashion stylist who counts Charlize Theron, Julianne Moore, and Jennifer Connelly as clients, decided to take on the decor of the 18th-century Katonah, New York farmhouse herself.

JANUARY LASTED a million days but February seems to be flying by. There is sunshine and birdsong, snowdrops, and today we saw a tree blooming with delicate white blossoms. It just as quickly clouded over and there were rainy spells here and there (it is England, after all), but overall, it's been feeling rather springlike.
