Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 11.04.22

JUST FINISHED Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown and have decided to reread Gabriel García Márquez because I needed something engrossing and fantastical as a break from the daily news cycle. I’d forgotten what an all-consuming (love) story it is and how beautifully written. Outside, there’s a busy-ness on the streets as people prepare for the upcoming long Easter weekend. The airports have been chaotic for the past week and everyone seems to be in need of a break. We’re looking forward to when the weather finally warms up enough for countryside bicycle rides to our favourite pubs again and for trips to the seaside. We are also in the middle of designing new items for Belgrave and are in the middle of adding new wicker & rattan items to The Shop. Which reminds me, if you haven’t had a chance to order The Windsor yet, there’s still time before they’re gone.

This week’s links include a visit to Ballyfin, one of Ireland’s grandest country houses; and rope-braided suede sandals for summer days; a wonderful Niacinamide Illuminating + Restorative Night Cream-Gel that have recently begun using, and much, much more.
