While it has been a privilege to run such an inspiring and highly-regarded digital publication all these years, like us, some of you who have been here since the beginning may feel a touch of nostalgia for the early days of blogging—the intimacy and sense of community.
We at TIG are masters of reinvention, having weathered the storms caused by the rise of social media, which many thought would be the demise of blogging. Not only did we survive, but we evolved and adapted. Now the time has come to embark on our next transformation. In this new endeavor, we’ll examine the profound questions and insights of human existence through thought experiments, personal essays, and musings on life in London. We’ll discuss wellness, personal style, and other aspects of the human experience. Through contemplative writing, we hope to unravel the mysteries of our inner worlds and gain new perspective—subjects that may not fit with the aspirational and aesthetic-driven content of TIG. In this new space, you’ll also be able to engage with our content through the comments section, and talk about things like we used to. We know you’ll love this new project and we can’t wait to get to know you. While our attention is focused elsewhere, we still intend to post on this site from time to time.
Creating content requires an incredible investment of time and energy. After years of publishing free content on TIG and Instagram, we are delighted to have this new way of sharing our ideas without relying on ever-changing algorithms or sponsored posts. It’s time to evolve, offer something new, and this new space is entirely funded by subscribers whose support directly powers our work.
