This instalment of Things We Lovely Lately includes, as always, a collection of beautiful finds from our travels around the internets, including this stunningly serene upstairs bedroom, above, in the home of Rose Uniacke; the most artfully created paper flowers by two British paper flower artists; this season’s favourite ad campaigns featuring Emily Ratajkowski for Miu and Miu and Ryan Gosling for Gucci and more⏤here’s what has been inspiring us lately…

Emily Ratajkowski for Miu Miu
Italian fashion brand Miu Miu‘s F/W 22 Advertising Campaign is a Character Study, portraits of Miu Miu⏤both clothing, and individuals: “Photographed by Tyrone LeBon, the portraits of the protagonists – actors Emma Corrin, Sydney Sweeney, Emily Ratajkowski, Demi Singleton and models Maty Drazek, Amber Later and Jade Rabarivelo – are arresting, defiant and direct. The gaze of each sitter catches ours, in environments that can pretend to be everywhere. The focus of these images is boldly on the personae of these figures, their expressions, and their expression of themselves through their clothes.” We love Emily Ratajkowski’s clean, fresh-faced look.

Elevation
This beautiful abstract print by アノニマス (studio anonimasu), titled Elevation, printed on Awagami Washi Bamboo 170gsm paper. You can find it here.
Ryan Gosling for Gucci
The new Gucci Valigeria campaign featuring Ryan Gosling as the new face for the fashion house. Shot by Glen Luchford, Gosling is seen with many different pieces from the brand’s Gucci Savoy collection⏤on the beach, in the back of a pickup truck, in a roadside hotel room⏤in photos that have a quiet, stylish vintage vibe to them.
Reuse, recycle
If you’ve been around lately, you would have been introduced to our new range of hobnail glass candles. All of these candles are hand-poured in small batches with a 100% natural soy and vegetable wax blend. After you’ve finished burning this cosy, 100-hour candle, you can reuse the beautiful empty hobnail jar for pens & pencils or makeup brushes, fresh-cut flowers, or anything you like.
Above: No.59 Chestnut⏤An earthy, nutty aroma with rich vanilla blends seamlessly with comforting notes of roasted chestnuts, brown sugared pecans, and cinnamon to create a fragrance reminiscent of a perfect fall day

Rose Uniacke at Home
We featured an upstairs bedroom, above, in the home of Rose Uniacke, from her book, Rose Uniacke at Home. Here we’re also highlighting the upstairs powder room, a large and airy space complete with a crystal chandelier, crown moulding, Greek key flourishes, and even a sitting area with a fireplace…
Paper flowers
If you’re a longtime reader, you’ll know that we have an affinity for paper art here at TIG, and especially paper art in the form of flowers. Two paper artists whose work we love are Livia Cetti @thegreenvase and Susan Beech @petalunfolds.
Livia Cetti is a paper flower artist, botanical stylist, and author known for her handmade paper flowers. Her love of flowers stems from a childhood spent observing nature in the mountains of Santa Barbara, and Cetti began making paper flowers professionally during her time as a style editor at Martha Stewart. She opened her own studio, The Green Vase, in 2005. Since then, Livia has created installations and arrangements around the world, from Paris to Tokyo, and even a state dinner in Washington, DC. She has also written two books, The Exquisite Book of Paper Flowers, and The Exquisite Book of Paper Flower Transformations. Her creations have also graced the windows of Jo Malone and Tiffany & Co. and the pages of Vogue, T Magazine, and Architectural Digest.
Paper artist Susan Beech creates delicate crepe paper flowers and botanicals from her home in Hove, UK. She founded her studio, A Petal Unfolds, in 2016. Each of her flower and botanical pieces is unique, with every petal cut from the finest crepe papers and intricately shaped by hand, with ink, pastel and paint used to create a soft gradation of colour. Susan studies real botanical specimens to help her to create the finest details and also takes inspiration from photographs and botanical publications. Susan has worked on commercial projects with the Financial Times, Liberty London, and more. Susan also teaches paper flower workshops both within the UK, and internationally with her online classes. Her first book, A Petal Unfolds: How To Make Paper Flowers, was published in May 2022.
Cleaning & Organising
Lately, we can’t seem to stop saving images of cleaning and organising and are especially drawn to ones with old-school (non-plastic) cleaning tools and supplies such as wooden brooms and brushes and clothes drying racks; woven baskets, metal dustpans and enamel pails and storage bins…
