Notes from the Weekend & this Week’s Links 03.04.23

WE HAVE been eating mango and coconut mochi ice cream lately (the coconut is my favourite), something to celebrate these spring days, especially since we’ve given up our favourite sourdough bread which we used to pick up from the local larder every Friday or Saturday morning. P has been on a health kick since last August, with no alcohol, and well, no bread. I’ve been a little more balanced in my approach, with the odd glass of red wine here and there, but also no bread for me and I miss it a little. We’re eating mostly buddha bowls filled with spinach and egg and grains and they’re actually delicious if you make them right. Also lots of oven-baked salmon and vegetables and none of the bad-habit snack foods that might make it into the grocery cart on weekends. We’re also in the middle of a few new projects, and a few big changes and everything feels like it’s moving too quickly and too slowly all at once.

This week’s links include the world’s 20 most beautiful cities to visit in your lifetime; and babydoll dresses and heeled sandals for spring days; a chic Paris apartment from the TIG archives; our favourite highlighter and sunscreen, and much, much more.
