In school, one of my very best friends was a girl named Kathryn. We did everything together and I would spend weeks during the summer at her family's lake house, swimming, water skiing, sunbathing and reading. These are some of my favourite memories growing up. I mention K because even though we were inseparable, she would still always write me letters for when she saw me next, even if it were the next morning at school, and every letter would include a quotation by someone inspiring. She was obsessed with quotes and with sharing them, and over time, collecting favourite quotes became one of my favourite things as well. HAD FORGOTTEN to mention that a couple of weeks ago, we saw the film Everything Everywhere All at Once. It was a bit crazy, a little hard to follow at times, manic and funny and perhaps worth it if only for the wildly romantic line, "...I wanted to say, in another life, I would have really liked just doing laundry and taxes with you."
