Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 18.04.22
@theseptemberchronicles

HOW IS YOUR long weekend going? It’s an official bank holiday here in England, so some things are still closed and there are no parcel deliveries, which means that everything we’ve been expecting will have to wait until at least tomorrow or later. The weather was perfect! Warm and springlike, sunny and filled with cherry blossoms and the last of the daffodils. There were apparently over 22 million car trips in Britain this weekend⏤to airports, the Eurotunnel or ferry terminals, and of course, to the coast. We chose to stay home because life in the English countryside is a little like being on holiday every day. Besides, we were in Edinburgh only a short time ago and will be returning again in a couple of weeks, so lowkey weekend was perfect.

This week’s links include a travel guide to the Greek island of Symi and an idyllic Cotswold farmhouse that blends old and new; belt pleated dresses for spring days, basket bags and much, much more.
