Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 06.09.21

SUNDAY MORNING was spent on the sofa with a 15-minute sheet mask on, poring over the FT Weekend. There was an interesting article about the concept of time, and how not to waste it by using the time you have now to do at least a little of what you care about, instead of banking on finding time for it in the future. That novel that you always wanted to write? Now is the time. Learning another language or how to play chess? Now is the time. I have been thinking quite a lot about time lately, how I spend it versus how I want to spend it, how to leave the past behind and perhaps paying a little more attention to the future. You can read more about these thoughts here (in case you missed it.)

This week’s links include a beautiful apartment with curved forms and soft tones; and boxy down vests for chilly September days; a virtual visit to São Tomé; trench coats and wooden clogs, and much, much more.
