Vancouver-based photographer David Burdeny graduated with a Masters in Architecture and Interior Design and spent the early part of his career in his field before turning to photography. In his photographic work, Burdeny seeks “to capture the mood and promise, silence and solitude in that extended moment of awareness”, exploring both opulent and austere interior scenes that use the sensuality of colour to full effect. This series, Italy 2016, is his most recent and explores the nature- and human-made spaces of the beautiful Mediterranean peninsula. Click through to view David Burdeny’s work . . .
