Notes from the Weekend

TOMORROW is already the last day of the first month of this brand new year⏤how has your new year been so far? Have you been a whirlwind of new goals and accomplishments, or have you been having trouble getting motivated? Tomorrow is also the day that a new phone and tablet are set to arrive, just one part of some life admin tasks getting crossed off the list. January is always filled with lists. There is something about starting again that demands them and this year, I’ve made many. We’ve been moving quickly on all our plans, and, so far, everything has been (happily) going according to schedule, but now it’s that tricky time in between where there’s waiting, and patience is not my virtue. Another thing that I’m working on that wasn’t included in this year’s resolutions is to focus on progress, not perfection. Done is better than perfect, as they say. This coming week there is something to celebrate and I can’t wait.
