THE COTTAGE IS filled with vases overflowing with pink tulips on the bookcase, and pale pink roses on the desk in an effort to brighten things up, conjure up feelings of springtime. It’s freezing outside and apparently snowing all over Britain, just not here. January is nearly (finally!) over and so far, it’s been a rather eventful start to the year with family dramas and difficult work situations to resolve and general challenges to face and all before the first month of 2020 has passed. But, of course, it’s these very things that make up life and we’re grateful for these moments, big and small, and everything in between. And there are, of course, breathtakingly beautiful moments as well. Moments so filled with love and light that know this year will be a good year. In the immortal words of Walt Whitman, “We were together. I forget the rest.”

This week’s links include a Cornish house, and a cabin in New Zealand; a recipe for Zucchini-Lentil Fritters With Lemony Yogurt; cosy things for winter days, and much, much more.
