Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 12.08.19

ONE OF THE THINGS we perfected in Spain (and by “we” I mean P) is the tortilla, a cosy potato omelet, which is what we made this weekend. We also made another one of our favourite dishes, Chickpea & Kale Shakshouka―it was terribly rainy, so comfort food seemed like just the thing. On Sunday we tried a new pub for dinner, the one over the bridge near the train station, all covered in roses. I’ve been listening to a new podcast have just discovered―the first episode I chose was about sleep, the second about how and why we love, the third about happiness. Perhaps shall share thoughts in upcoming articles, I think. There have been so many ideas and thoughts we have in conversation here that are interesting and that might be lovely to share. We’re also taking a break from the TIG Instagram page for a bit, and taking the time to re-evaluate our relationship with social media and constant connection in general. Hope you had a beautiful, relaxing weekend and that your week is off to a perfect start.

This week’s links include an apartment complex in an historic building in Mallorca; a visit with the tree pruner behind some of Italy’s best and rarest olive oils; silky blazers for the office, padded sandals and much, much more.
