Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 13.08.18

EVERY NIGHT, when the day is over, I get excited thinking about the next day, about coffee in the morning, and working on the things I didn’t have a chance to finish today; about projects and plans and new things I’ve discovered to share; about all of it really. And it is the most wonderful feeling to be excited to wake up to this work, and this life. It feels like a lifetime ago that I sitting in an office somewhere, waiting for the clock to tick, tick, tick to 5:00 so I could rush home and work here. Of course, it is not always easy (The Guardian ran a recent article about YouTubers feeling burnout, and Evangelie Smyrniotaki of Style Heroine talks about spending time with family and “detoxing from the media” in her most recent Instagram post), but it is still by far, the best way to spend our working days. We’ve mastered the art of incorporating work and life in a way that works and we feel lucky every day to have the chance to do what we do. Here’s to finding your passion in this beautiful one and only life we have.

This week’s links include a chic minimalistic space, a linen trench for the last summer days and the best retinol night cream; the night sky and the top romantic getaways around the world, and much, much more.
