Stumbled across this stunning editorial last week, shot by Steven Meisel, and promptly fell back in love with director Sofia Coppola. The Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette director landed a deserving turn in front of the camera in Vogue Italia’s February cover.
Titled “Effortless Style”, the fashion bible showcased a sleek and sophisticated side of Sofia, who usually lets her work, rather than her clothes do the talking. Clothed in designer labels such as Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga and Comme des Garçons, the French model turned director was transformed for the month courtesy of make up artist Pat McGrath and stylist Karl Templer.
