. . . and do you remember the beautiful glimpse into the balmain boutique in paris? french architect, joseph dirand, has now brought his ornate austerity to italian fashion house, emilio pucci’s, recently opened flagship boutique on madison avenue; purpled veined marble intermingles with tufted velvet and terrazzo and brass and glass, and extravagantly oversized fitting rooms are lined with pink velvet walls and purple satin carpet . . .
