THERE IS A LINE in Ernest Hemingway's A Moveable Feast that says, “When spring came, even the false spring, there were no problems except where to be happiest”, and that is how we're feeling at this very moment, after a walk in the palm-tree laden jardins ...

WE HAVE HAD A LONGTIME love affair with Atelier AM, the Los Angeles-based interior design/architecture firm run by husband & wife team Alexandra and Michael Misczynski.
THERE IS A SPANISH BOOKSTORE that we love to visit that has all the best magazines. It was here, the other day, that had come across the latest issue of Elle Decoration España with the new home of couturier Jorge Vázquez on the cover. Of course, as an unabashed maximalist, it was love at first site. The Spanish fashion designer worked with his friend and decorator, Amaro Sánchez de Moya, who also designed Vázquez's store in La Coruña.
IF THERE EVER were a place made of Instagram dreams, this is the place. Set off against the pink velvet is a dusky blue bar with blue and gold stools for sitting at the counter. Quotes by Walt Witman adorn the walls. Scroll through for a glimpse...

While am not particularly fond of the rest of the space, this living room, with its pale, pale pink walls, crown mouldings, parquet flooring, deep wall panels and glittering chandelier, is truly inspirational, especially since we're currently in search of the perfect shade of PINK for the master bedroom ...
Today’s Interior Redux features not one, but two homes of one of the greatest couturiers of the 20th century, Hubert de Givenchy. The designer owned three homes in France, and early last year, we looked at the designer’s country estate — Le Jonchet (see it here), where he permanently resides today, at the age of 89.
