WE FEATURED Carolina Irving’s (second) Manhattan apartment that she shared with her then husband, Ian, back in February 2014. Published in Lonny that same year, it created a stir with its colours and textures, ruffled chintz slipcovers and romantic bohemian vibe.
RECENTLY CAME ACROSS this chic and dramatic home in Ostermalm, Stockholm on Bárbara's blog, Living Gazette. The 142 square foot, four bedroom apartment was listed on the real estate site Lagerlings for 17.5 million SEK (about 2 million USD). After looking closely at the space, there seemed to be something oddly familiar about the space -- the herringbone flooring, leopard rug, and especially the ginger jar blinds in the kitchen. Of course, remembered then that it was the same home we had featured here in August 2015 as the home of Christine Roth, then the Global Marketing Director at GANT. The décor has changed somewhat, but some of Roth's artwork, as well as the blinds and leopard rug, remain the same. Scroll through for a glimpse of this wonderfully eclectic space, and click here for a comparison of how the home looked previously.
For the third instalment of this series, we're looking at the swimsuit of the season, the much-hyped (and Instagrammed) Vetements x Manolo Blahnik collaboration, the (still going strong) trends of tweed jackets and Birkin baskets and more.Click through for a glimpse of this month's fashion news ...
SUNSHINE GETS BRIGHTER AND DAYS GET LONGER, and so, with the summer, there is a certain appeal to pulling off beachwear in the city. During these warmer months we tend to dress down, swapping intricate layering techniques and embroidered velvet jackets for Levi’s cut-off shorts and silky day dresses.
