Nourishment can be as simple as an orange in the morning, or a hearty salad topped with hummus for lunch. It can be a Sunday brunch and yes, a fabulous desert. To this day, one of the best pieces of advice I have received was to always have a chocolate bar in the pantry.
As much as we enjoy dining out or ordering in, we still often enjoy cooking at home. Sometimes after a busy day, cooking can be–as strange as it seems–a pleasant way to unwind.
Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of salted boiling water for 7–8 minutes or until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup (250ml) of the cooking liquid. Set aside. Heat the oil in the saucepan over medium heat, add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the cream and reserved water and cook for 1 minute.
