Back when I was home in Brasov, December used to always be magical: long walks in the freezing snowy white forest, skating with friends and weekends at the cabin. I miss quite a bit, that Christmasy-Winter feeling. This year, the streets around Paris have been getting festive since mid-November and I was pretty excited about it, but unfortunately Paris's famous Marché de Noël it won't be held this year.
1898 The Post is a new luxury hotel by the Zannier Group, in the Belgian city of Ghent. Housed in what used to be a grand Post Office, the hotel has its own 54-metre clock tower. The Neo-Gothic building with its with statues and escutcheons, was constructed in 1898 by the architect Louis Cloquet.

Today in France is La Rentrée: the back-to-work & school routine after the summer and a month away in August. Earlier this morning, you could’ve seen quite a beautiful fashion show on the streets: men and women super stylé in their impeccable tailleur, children hurrying with their big cartables on the way to school.
Last weekend was white and christmassy, and my city break back home in Brasov was filled with lots of hugs, love and laughs. Currently back to work, but I wanted to share with you a beautiful place from my region, the utterly romantic Transylvania, and more specifically, the Peles Castle.
