Dining in Paris | Michelin Starred Cuisine: 2 Restaurants to Try this Autumn

For many years now fall feels like the beginning of the year for me. New year at the university, new books, new trends, new places to try... Parmi les choix you have during fall while in Paris, here are two amazing places where you can experience something inédit: Michelin starred cuisine -- praised worldwide for the quality of service and products, for the attention given to every single detail and the extraordinaire flavourous cuisine.
Head chef Mathieu Pacaud, along with Isabelle Saglio and Philippe Grach are a few of the people behind the exceptional restaurant, Divellec, belong to the Costes group. In charge of the decor was KO Studios, who created a space with intimate seating and a charming bourgeois parisien atmosphere: pink, green and gray marble floors, cognac velvet banquette seating, heavy emerald curtains and a pink marble counter, plus two smaller salons with parquet floors, wool carpets and a fireplace.
The menu is a balanced between vegan and marine gastronomy: carpaccios, cheviche and caviar served with blinis and champagne, vegetables sourced straight from the gardens of the Domaine de Murtoli in Corsica.
“There’s a Madeleine Castaing atmosphere,” said Saglio, an elegant, soft-spoken Parisian who is the mother of Vogue Paris fashion editor Geraldine Saglio, referring to the celebrated French interior designer. “It’s a place that I imagine Yves Saint Laurent might have liked.”

Apicius is a fine dining maison situated in one of the most chic neighbourhoods in Paris. In charge of the exceptional food is Jean-Pierre Vigato, dedicated and passionate about his creations, their textures and perfumes. The venue is brilliant: a great maison, lit with beautiful chandeliers and a soothing atmosphere classically design by David Gaillard.
