YOU MOST LIKELY have seen photos of this place floating around the interwebs. They are evocative, and they’ll make you want to drop everything and travel to the Amalfi Coast, if for no other reason, than to visit Felicia’s Home Restaurant, housed in the Tramonti farmhouse where the chef, Felicia, was born. In fact, this Casale was also where Felicia’s father was born, and grew up, together with his 10 brothers. It’s one of those grand old Italian kitchens with very high ceilings and a door that leads to the back garden, and there are pink walls and prints and patterns, and curtains instead of cupboards for storage. It is in this charming place that Felicia will cook you dishes prepared and cooked according to tradition, using fruits and vegetables from the garden, with home-made salami and local products such as fresh bread and cheeses. You can also book in for pasta and pizza cooking classes as well. Never ending carbs in the Italian countryside sounds just about perfect to us.
