I am often asked what kind of style I prefer when doing personal styling for men. And the truth is I don’t know. I could call it a mix of sporty and office, or what the French call habillé mais décontracté.

I do love a good tailored blazer or trousers, but not maybe not together. I do prefer when athleisure meets office style, and I love layering (each visible layer should be something you could wear on it own).

Men's styling is different than women's. While women have tendency to go with the latest trend or to acquire new pieces, men like to choose the pieces they already own, but styled in a new way that enhances their own personal style.

Here are four different styling ideas I've put together.

Dana is a fragile dreamer, they say, arriving in Paris four years ago, for love, and the city has been constantly changing her life since then. Hers is a world of books, (Marguerite Duras, Simone de Beauvoir, Anne Berest), expos, long walks sur les quais de Seine, pink skies, fine wine and peonies.
