Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

WE HAVE BEEN eating Christmas chocolates for the past couple of weeks already, and may have popped the cork on a bottle of cava or two, well ahead of holiday festivities. The news has been all Brexit and vaccines and an alarming rise in the number of cases (even in our area, which has been lucky so far) and to say that it’s been a difficult year would be an understatement. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to leave one year behind for a fresh start more than I have with this one. We’re spending this week eating healthy food and keeping up with our workouts before Christmastime when all of these things will fade away. Here at TIG, we’ll also be taking some time off around then as well, to recharge and spend as little time as possible on screens of any kind, with the exception of perhaps, the books on our Kindles. I realise more and more as this year passes that in the quiet moments, I am thankful for the things I have and for the person that I get to share them with.

This week’s links include puff sleeve sweatshirts and pearl drop earrings; a recipe for Creamy Coconut White Russians; how to make a table wreath, and much, much more.
