There aren’t many new places that I've discovered lately here in Paris, but there is one in particular place that I love and always go back to: Kodawari Ramen.
It’s a very authentic restaurant in its design, a ramen joint that will transport you straight to Tokyo: Lost in Translation-inspired posters, furniture, bookshelves and Japanese lanterns, a long bar along the kitchen and tables made of bottle crates at the back of the room. And while I may know little about other ramen places in the city, it's said that this one serves some of the best ramen in Paris.
Dana is a fragile dreamer, they say, arriving in Paris four years ago, for love, and the city has been constantly changing her life since then. Hers is a world of books, (Marguerite Duras, Simone de Beauvoir, Anne Berest), expos, long walks sur les quais de Seine, pink skies, fine wine and peonies. website email
