Décor Inspiration: Clare Waight Keller’s Former Paris Apartment

Paris | Décor Inspiration: Clare Waight Keller’s Former Paris Apartment

DON’T KNOW HOW I missed Clare Waight Keller’s Haussmannian Paris apartment when it was featured in The Wall Street Journal in March of 2016, but so happy I came upon it now in their archives. At the time, Waight Keller was still the Creative Director at Chloé and living in Paris, long before she became known for designing Meghan Markle’s (now infamous) wedding dress. Today, of course, she is the Creative Director at Givenchy and lives in London with her architect husband and three children, splitting her time between the city and Paris, where she works.

Here’s a glimpse of the 16th arrondissement apartment, off the Bois de Boulogne, with its beautiful crown moulding and boiserie, the background for Waight Keller’s surprisingly eclectic, bohemian, worldly style, a mix of art and natural fibers and textures and mostly neutral palette.
