Style Inspiration | A September Shopping List: A Trench Coat, A Cosy Sweater, a Fireside Scent & more

by

On the 1st of September I felt like someone pushed a button causing the weather to suddenly take a different turn: the mornings are brisk, the afternoons are hot, and by the time I leave work it’s chilly again. The mood on the streets of Paris is more beautiful than I have ever have seen before.

The city is crowded, the traffic is loud, but the visual aesthetic adds a new sparkle to my eyes.

Parisian street style is all about the details―whether that’s cozy cashmere, a classic shirt paired with tailored trousers, eye-catching footwear or a monochromatic outfit, a fluid trench or extravagantly chic layering.

Here are some beautiful items on my shopping list and fall moodboard―hope they’ll inspire you too.

Dana is a fragile dreamer, they say, arriving in Paris four years ago, for love, and the city has been constantly changing her life since then. Hers is a world of books, (Marguerite Duras, Simone de Beauvoir, Anne Berest), expos, long walks sur les quais de Seine, pink skies, fine wine and peonies.
