A New Project by Architectural Design Firm Studio Brent Lee
WE ARE PUTTING aside our indifference to modern décor for this 2018 project by Brent Lee. This MT Townhouse design in Byron Bay is startling in its warmth and cosiness. It hardly seems possible that a space that appears to emulate the look of concrete would not feel cold. The architectural design studio has mastered the seemingly impossible with the use of a tonal grey on grey palette, with deep browns added in for warmth. Soft shapes such as the arched windows, doorways and circular bathtub play off the sharper angles of the furniture, stairway, and kitchen cupboards. The texture of wood and floods of natural light also work to soften the space. The result is breathtakingly chic.
