Pomegranate Mango Smoothie Bowl
makes 1 smoothie bowl
1cup frozen mango
3/4 cup pomegranate juice (cut this back to 1/2 cup pom juice + 1/4 cup water if you want it to be more sweet and less sour)
2 tsp honey
Blend until smooth, pour into a bowl and cover with your favorite toppings — granola, seeds (chia, flax, hemp etc.), seasonal fruit, cocoa nibs, and coconut shavings.
Citrus Banana Smoothie Bowl
makes 1 smoothie bowl
1cup frozen banana
3/4 cup citrus juice (for example, a mix of tangerine, orange and grapefruit)
2 tsp agave
1 tsp coconut oil (optional but delicious, adds a nice tropical flavor)
1/2 tsp lime zest (optional)
Blend until smooth, pour into a bowl and cover with your favorite toppings.
