Hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far. Here is this week’s PlaylistEnjoy. –P.

Montreal electrofunk pop duo Chromeo have been kicking around the music scene for the past 10 years and enjoyed some critical success, but have yet to enter into the mainstream. That may change with their highly-anticipated upcoming album release, White Women. Here is “Jealous (I Ain’t With It)” a brilliantly subdued remix by the The Disciples.

Singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer SOHN’s single “Artiface“, from his debut album release Tremors is a hauntingly hypnotic slice of elecrtonica.

In 2012, the album, Born to Die, by Lana Del Rey was the fifth best-selling album worldwide. She has been on hiatus since then, but has returned with a moody new single “West Coast” from her upcoming album Ultraviolence.

Scottish soul singer Paolo Nutini’s new album Caustic Love is sitting at the top of the UK album charts. “Iron Sky” is the brooding centrepiece track off the album by the reluctant pop star.

The new single “Sing” by singer songwriter Ed Sheeran is a stylistic departure from his acoustic folk pop roots and is a genuinely surprising change of sound. Pharrel provides production on the single and ledgendary producer Rick Rubin is overseeing overall production on Sheeran’s upcoming album x.
