Style Inspiration : The Little Black Dress

Alasdair McLellan for Vogue UK - from This Is Glamorous
First things first: this picture is not exactly news and neither is this dress, both date back to 2011. And yet, it is one of these pictures and one of these dresses which exude something timeless. One of the reasons might be that it is rather a classic black and white picture. Another reason is probably that it features a little black dress, a true wardrobe staple. Most importantly to note, however, is that the photographer behind the lens was Alasdair McLellan and the designer behind the dress no other than Stella McCartney. For me, reason enough to deserve a little place in my archives.

  • It’s both seductive and chic too! I love a knee length bodycon dress with a little sheer. Reminds me of a bit of David Tlale A/W 2014. Thanks for the inspiration, Marzena! x

    • My pleasure Supal! Thank you for the lovely comment and for mentioning David Tlale (whose collection was new to me). I can definitely see the connection between both.
