. . . hello again! had not meant to go missing for quite as long, but as you know, with travel, things can sometimes get a little tricky when it comes to scheduling, and today, sunny, bright & beautiful in geneva, and with terrace cafés overlooking the lake and walks along cobblestone streets, still-leafy parks, fountains and cathedrals, was far too tempting to take the day to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather . . . not certain when there next will be a moment to say hello, but for now, leaving you with the utter sophistication of metallic wallcoverings, scalloped headboards and monogrammed bed linens, chandeliers and gilded mirrors, lavender velvet and de gournay . . .
à bientôt & hope your week is off to a perfect start,

I absolutely LOVE the walls in the first picture! How do I get mine to look like that? Is it wall paper or a painting technique?
Love the dining room!

There is such a serene elegance to these colors. I’m having my bedroom re-painted a muted lavender with light grey accents. Can’t wait until it’s done.
So inspired and lovely!! I do prints, canvas, greeting cards and posters about fashion, you´r invited to see my work :)
By the way love your blog and follow you!! :)
I love the barrel back chairs in the bottom photo! I’ve managed to find one for my dining table but haven’t been able to find another to match yet. Love the purple!
Gorgeous! :) x
My favourite colours!

Loving the colours – my bedroom walls are that shade of smokey lavender and it is so peaceful. I added touches of buttery yellow in the room as well because there isn’t a lot of natural light so I didn’t want it to be too dark. White bed linens would have been a good choice as well… although not so much with a cat :S Thanks again!
I absolutely love the first photo. You don’t often see sun streaks in photos and I LOVE them!
Beautiful, sweet post, as always! Your time sounds beautiful in Geneva! Absolutely perfect.
I hope the rest of your travels are magical.
