Oh Yeah….this is the combination of the gods! Anita
That is so true. For years, I packed away my aged gold treasures…an old, old candelabra, little mirror and other such trinkets, but within the last year, I have brought all of them out again — with a renewed appreciation. As you have so perfectly shown in the first image, gold looks splendid with both ornate and clean, modern surfaces.
I love these images, Roséline + again, a warm congratulations on your feature. I have been enjoying your posts very much! Keep up the appreciation and pursuit of all that is truly lovely and glamorous :)
xo,
Sarah
I have been loving how much gold is making avery strong come back in both interior design and fashion! The sofa is to die for.
I have been told,
I’m getting old,
so I’ll just be bold,
and go for the gold!
There is nothing more beautiful than Gold! The first image is stunning!
Oh man, after that second picture I’m definitely craving a good red and gold ensemble…
I’ve been thinking about gold leafing the inside of a lampshade – the light reflecting of the gold will be beautiful.
I agree–I especially love gold as an accent on pillows-and of course, a lovely gilded mirror is always glamorous! Have a great weekend, Barbara
My favorite color! It can turn anything into something glamorous!x
The colour gold is beautiful in accessories but easily overdone in anything big, but it looks quite good in the first photo :) xxx

I love the gold sofa, what a fabulous accent piece. The gold on the walls, much to royal for a Bumpkin. My friends would attempt to medicate me should this occur in my home. I could just hear them now.
That Bumpkin has went a bought her some gold lame’ paint and has gone hog wild in the den.
I found you through the fabulous Laura at B B & B. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I send you much sunshine from the shores of The Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am really not so much a bumpkin other than geographically, but I hope I shared a giggle with you.
