{merry, merry christmas!}

My very first {and only} gingerbread house, made a million years ago and alongside one of my dearest friends, who would later admit that mine turned out better than hers, and this thought would bring up the memory of a project we did in school, where mine was showcased in front of the class, and she would then confess that she was “always a little jealous about that project” and we would laugh . . .

The Christmas baking is finished {although I wonder where the shortbread cookies have gone?}
{wooden spoons by live wire farm}

The shopping is done and the gifts are wrapped . . .

Three pre-Christmas parties in the past three days, officially on holiday and excited and looking forward to Christmas day . . .
Merry, Merry Christmas everyone!

May your Holidays be filled with food, family, friends and a few stolen moments under the mistletoe . . .

  • hello lovely felicity!

    ah, yes, laundry — a necessary evil and who can blame you if it piles up — it is the last glorious days of summer after all . . . and speaking of which, just off to the cleaners to finally drop a few things off — slowly but surely trying to get to everything on the to-do list — thanks again for your help constructing the “overwhelmed with e-mails” letter — as you can see, used most of your copy — did you scroll down to the bottom of the {newsy bits} page?

    and how are things in fair switzerland? things here are still hot, hot, hot, although first thing this morning it was only 19 degrees — soon it will be autumn before we know it

    thanks again for the nyc/italy/paris flickr link — so excited to use it!

    also, lovely to hear of your nostalgia re: cinque terre post :)

    so wonderful to hear from you again and thanks for much for your lovely letter & much love,

    Hey beautiful jetsetting miss R,

    sounds like your inbox is like my washing pile:-) yes, my washing pile is that bad!!! (sorry – very unglamorous comparison but true!!:-) – she laughs.

    Don’t worry about responding as don’t want to add another email that needs an answer as I know you must be snowed under.

    Much love and blog is looking lovely – esp the personal pics you styled and also the pictures of Italy. I recognize a beach on the blog the pics are taken from as a beach from my home town – so much nostalgia with that post :-):-) Much love and take care and of course, smiles

    Dear Miss Roséline,

    Lovely to meet you here – it was quicker to post the link here than send an email as I had TIG open. I think the apartment is magical and I have been poring over it – we are in a super small space at the moment – so I am fascinated as to how they do it relative to the no of people we would be in the same size of space. (does that make sense?)

    Anyway I think its lovely – the mural and the colours the moldings and furniture and just everything:-)!

    News here ? We’re in a week of visitors – one left yesterday and 3 others arrive in 15 mins so must fly – but Im loving it – and the place never looked tidier – nothing like guests is there for cleaning inspiration:-)

    Smiles and much love

    Have a great weekend!

  • well hello miss felicity!

    hope you’re well and do send along a quick note when you have a moment — would love to know what’s new

    much love,

    Hey Glam Girl! Sorry for the post delay. Had some technical difficulties so I’m trying again.

    Jealous friend here (hee hee!). You always were the one the teachers gushed over. If Martha Stewart were teaching a class in gingerbread house-making, she’d give you top marks! Nice photo too (thought it had gone missing; glad it resurfaced)!
