HAPPILY & FINALLY moving into warmer, brighter days that fade into nightfall a little later each second, but have heard that things have been rather snowy and unbearably cold for those we know in New York & Toronto, which brought to mind these wintery photographs, taken by 42-year-old Irish wildlife photographer, DAVID JENKINS, who spent 10 years capturing the bond between newborn polar bear cubs and their mothers.
These particular shots were taken in the bears’ denning area in WAPUSK NATIONAL PARK, Canada, after the Jenkins was granted a special licence only available to the very best wildlife photographers. Even more magical is the fact that Jenkins managed to capture a mother with three surviving cubs, which is a very rare occurrence.
While these photos may not keep you cosy, they will, for certain, brighten days and warm hearts everywhere.
