After all our favourite teams have been knocked out of the World Cup and Roger Federer lost the Wimbledon final in a 5-set classic against Djokovic, we are feeling just little bit melancholic and this week’s Playlist reflects that. Enjoy. —P.

“Bloodstream” is taken from Ed Sheeran’s new number one album X. This version has been subtly remixed by Chris Meid.

 


Nothin On My Mind” is the debut single from British-based songwriter Astronomyy, taken from his upcoming EP There For U.

 


New Zealand’s brother and sister synthpop duo Broods released a new track, “Mother & Father”. Production on the track comes from Joel Little, who also produced Lorde’s Royals.

 


Canadian electronic psych-pop musician Caribou has released his new single, “Can’t Do Without You”, from his upcoming album Our Love, set for an October 7th release later this year.

 


Four-piece indie rock band The Griswolds from Sydney, Australia will release their debut album Be Impressive next month. “Down & Out” is the second single from the new album.
