. . . last night, next to a romantic & cosy fire, we, on the spur of the moment, booked flights for a few days in paris in mid-december; and before that, in early november, another flight to a beautiful place where shall stay for the next few months; and already, there is a festive excitement in the air, and a feeling of change, not only in seasons, but places and cities, and there is so much to tell you, but for now, a few weekend wishes . . .
