I wanted to add to my sculptures these antique chandeliers to make them more exclusive and special, both for the brass components value and for the difficulty of the sculpture process that must be entirely done by hand around the piece of the chandelier. To make the composition even more magical I left the electric cable as if it were torn, as if the animal had broken the piece recently, but the light is still on.

Burch purchased the 15,000 square foot home in 2008, at the time of the financial crisis, when no one was buying much of anything. It has always been one of the largest homes in Southampton, and the fashion designer has spent the past nine or so years decorating it with interior designer and architect Daniel Romualdez. The seven acres of gardens were designed by landscape architect Perry Guillot.
