JUST IN FRONT of the Centre Pompidou, in the Place Beaubourg, there lies a small building in which a fascinating permanent exhibition is held. This exhibition is of the works of Romanian-born sculptor, painter and photographer Constantin Brâncuși (February 19, 1876 – March 16, 1957).
The other day while searching for a place to have tea, we stumbled upon a beautiful hotel situated a few steps away from the beautiful Opera de Paris, the Palais Garnier: l’InterContinental Paris le Grand.
Also called l’hôtel des voyageurs, l’InterContinental Paris le Grand was originally built for the Exposition Universelle of 1867. The building has long welcomed intellectuals and travelers from around the world, which famously include Victor Hugo, Emile Zola and Oscar Wilde.

Young Fathers have just announced the release of their third album, Cocoa Sugar, through Ninja Tune later this year. Yes, the Edinburgh trio is back, and I’m just stunned thinking about the artistic progression the trio has undergone to get to the point they’re at with this new track, “In My View.”
This year my holiday structure is changing: fewer plans, no schedules, no compromises. While everyone else is planning their big Christmas dinner, this year I am headed towards making my own traditions, including a small dinner with friends and some more time for myself and my readings.
Five years ago, ambient pop group Cigarettes After Sex released their first EP, I. Since then, they’ve steadily grown their following and are finally readying their debut self-titled full-length. With the album out June 9th on Partisan Records, the band have today shared the latest preview, “Each Time You Fall In Love.”
