The piano classes on the third floor of my building have started again, the terraces on my street are open again and the streets are filled again with everybody going back at work. Like many of you have already noticed, almost everyone on Instagram is on holiday, laying in the sun and doing nothing. In case you are still at work, as well, here is something that made me dream for a while this week and took my mind off of work.
Little have I thought about styling and fashion these past few weeks, as my mind is wandering to sunny places, near the sea always, in the mood for watching sunsets, looking at the works of Picasso, Matisse, Duchamp and Miró.

These are key statement pieces that can easily build your wardrobe, and are perfect for pairing with basics.
There is something exciting about interior design, redecorating the living room and having the perfect set up. I think it’s more important to purchase, from time to time, statement pieces―perfect pieces―than rather spending frequently on little pieces that eventually will be hidden somewhere because they don’t fit the aesthetics of your space. I’ve waited months and months for a rug that will fit my little studio and I don’t regret the investment.
As I am dreaming endlessly of holidays, cannot wait to visit some areas around Avignon this August. Driving around the south of France, seeing the beautiful the villages in Provence will be a dream come true.
French Riviera during the Cannes Film Festival is always an endless source of inspiration. Since its debut in 1946, the event has been more than a celebration of the best films of the year. What makes the festival so magical is everything that comes with it: the parties, the meetings, the interviews, the photoshoots that take place during these two weeks. Perhaps the busy-ness around it does not allow one to take the proper time to see the beautiful landscape, but just in case you need some inspiration, here are a few photos to remember the good old times...
