LAST WEEK I was unable to send out the regular newsletter dispatch due to unforeseen circumstances. Instead, I sent a Sunday edition while remaining in a scenario not unlike a real-life version of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Okay, I’m may be exaggerating a bit. We have spent the past few days with family⎼ pasta dishes and red wine and even a pub dinner out one evening (I ordered the wrong thing, but everyone else liked their meals). There are still birthdays to celebrate before the month is over and even though the weather has been great over the past week, I’m still not giving up on summer just yet. Already there is a crispness in the air and I am currently writing to you on a terrace in a quilted Barbour, but since the very last day of summer isn’t until the 22nd of September, I’ll hold on to the feeling of summer a little while longer…
This week’s links include an article about why creators have stopped editing their content; and the last summer whites; Katy Kelleher’s excellent colour series; fall footwear and wardrobe staples, and much, much more.
xo,
