A NEW YEAR, a fresh start—and storage, office spaces, and other reoganising projects seem to be on everyone’s minds this January. As far as office inspiration goes, we love the look of these calm and collected spaces with their airiness and neutral palettes. Yes, storage is a big new year’s theme. In fact, one of our most popular posts on the subject from a few years ago (published just before the holidays) was pinned over twenty-eight thousand times. Somehow, after all the festive excess of the holidays, in January we collectively feel like decluttering—clearing everything out to make room for all our new ideas and resolutions. If you don’t necessarily want to sell or donate all of the things you no longer want or have room for, shelves and other storage solutions are the answer. This year, we particularly like the look of these open and glass-fronted shelves for keeping things organised in the kitchen.
Yes, you could get a Frame TV with art screensavers to hide it in plain sight, but we kind of like the idea of just putting it on an artist’s easel for instant chic. Ours is actually on a tripod easel in the corner of the living room and we adore the way it looks—unfussy, yet instantly elegant.
