MARSEILLE-BORN Julie Pailhas got her start at Elle France, where she became a regular collaborator. She then joined Condé Nast Publications for the launch of Glamour France, where she would be Senior Fashion Editor for 8 years. In 2012, Pailhas was appointed Deputy Fashion Director at Grazia France. After which time, the stylist worked as a freelance fashion editor and consultant in Paris for many years, working with clients such as Cacharel, Sessùn, and the French department stores Printemps, and Galeries Lafayette. In 2020, Pailhas moved back to her home city of Marseille where she has launched her new project, the apartment-gallery Objets Inanimés, a hybrid space which welcomes art lovers and collectors by appointment.
