WHILE we often discuss the downside of social media, it can sometimes still be a great place to find inspiration. For instance, we recently came across this calm and sophisticated London home belonging to a wellness entrepreneur and writer. Designed by Olga Ashby Interiors, the neutral space in Chelsea features curvy furniture by way of the sofa and coffee table, which is echoed in the mezzanine wall above it. There is a beautiful flow to space due to the natural shapes, colours and textures, as well as airiness due to the double-height ceiling in the living area. In the kitchen, dramatic floor-to-ceiling shelves display objets, books, pottery and found items, which caning and geometric patterns continue with the wood chairs, stools and bar counter.
