Notes from the Weekend

THERE IS an axiom that states something to the effect of: Be careful with your words when you’re with others, and with your thoughts when you’re alone. It’s not on my list of resolutions this year, but it might as well be, as these words are something have been thinking about quite a bit lately. In fact, one of the resolutions that didn’t make the list this year was to go easier on myself, which is very nearly the same thing. How has the first two weeks of 2023 been for you? Have you made any resolutions yet or set any goals? I think this year is going to be one of big changes for us and it’s both terrifying and exciting at the same time, which means perhaps we might have become a little too comfortable lately.
