WE SPENT MOST of the weekend doing art. P took up architectural sketching with markers and pens a few weeks ago, and I’ve been working furiously on a few new pieces/projects over the past few days. We’ll be adding our favourites to The Shop and I’ve just discovered a wonderful printing place in East London that will handle all the prints of our work. It’s exciting to be working on something new and to get so caught up in something that you lose track of time. Flow state, I think that’s what it’s called. My sister also recommended a new series that I’ve been watching during cardio that I love. It’s called Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and it’s a South Korean romantic comedy television series that aired in 2021. It’s completely in Korean, so I have to watch it with subtitles, but it’s funny and heartwarming and utterly charming. I’m already at Episode 9 and can’t wait to see what happens. My sister says it keeps getting better and better.
This week’s links include quilted jackets and twill pleated trousers for autumn days, and the invention of solar-powered headphones; my current favourite moisturiser and setting powder, and much, much more.
