THIS WEEKEND WE screened the 1983 film Risky Business on the projector. P has seen it many times before, but it was my first time, much to his horror⏤a classic in his opinion. On Monday we awoke to the chaotic madness of the Oscars slap and is it just us, or is the world getting weirder? Of course, for the last two days, everyone on the internet had an opinion about it and proper publications were even adding their two cents with think pieces hastily written to capitalise on the outrage. We paid it little mind and spent more time following along on the peace talks with Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul. We also spent much of the weekend reorganising our work systems, including email and a redesign of The Shop that this still ongoing, hence the very lateness of these links. All of our shops/sites are being updated and redesigned at the moment and we’re also in the middle of creating new products for Belgrave that we can’t wait to tell you about. Work feels like a pleasure and a lifesaver these days.
This week’s links include a modern desert home in Palm Springs and a beautiful poem from our archives; sunny cropped tweed jackets for spring days, regency chic, and much, much more.
