FELL DOWN a beautiful internet rabbit whole on my way to this place, the French country home of Cordelia de Castellane, the artistic director of Dior Maison and Baby Dior. Located an hour north of Paris, the five-acre estate dates back to the 15th century. de Castellane and her husband used to rent a small cottage on these grounds from the family friends who owned the property, long before it became their very own. The first order of business was to renovate the three-story main house with its six bedrooms and six baths. The little cottage that de Castellane used to rent became a three-bedroom house with rooms wrapped in toile de Jouy. The home is a bohemian eclectic mix of prints and patterns, bold colours and textures, and plenty of country charm by way of ceiling beams, wicker and bamboo, thrown in for good measure. The result is utterly charming. Scroll through for more.
