WHILE SEARCHING for a festive wreath for our front door, ended up coming across many wonderful florists on Instagram who we’ve begun following. The first sculptural garland we discovered was London-based florist Kitten Grayson‘s holiday installation for English fashion designer Pearl Lowe (below) and were absolutely inspired by the swooping swirls of dried plants and flowers mixed with fresh pink roses. It truly is one of the most romantic holiday decorations we’ve ever seen. Next, we happened upon Zara home’s wild dried masterpiece and by the time we came across Philippa Craddock‘s grand asymmetrical mantlepiece display (above), we knew that we had stumbled upon a new holiday decorating trend. (As an aside, you may have heard of Philippa Craddock, as this design studio was the one responsible for the cascading floral archways that decorated the façade and interior of St George’s Chapel in Windsor for the 2018 wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.) Here, we’ve mostly included the work of Kitty Grayson, as she seems to be the most prolific in this medium so far. We’ve also include some examples of traditional holiday mantlepiece décor for comparison. Scroll through for a glimpse…
