WE ARE MAKING GOOD progress with fixing our archives and 2018 is nearly complete. It’s a long, tiresome process, but as we’re in Lockdown 2.0, we have nothing but time. In fact, the past two weeks have been a flurry of activity, perhaps due to the lockdown, or perhaps because the days have been so grey and overcast and nearly all of the leaves have fallen off the trees. It’s a bleak time of year that’s normally made tolerable by all the crackling fires in cosy pubs and joining friends for after work drinks, but of course, this year is different. The pubs are closed (at least until early December) and holiday cheer hangs somewhat in uncertainty, depending on whether or not we’ll be able to see family and friends. Until we know what happens, we’re busy using this time to catch up on things and plan ahead, always grateful to have work to do that we enjoy so much.
This week’s links include the best Instagram accounts for those who love Italy; and the saving of a rare butterfly species; alpaca sweaters for winter days; pearl drop earrings, and much, much more.
