Reminiscing over the good things that have happened recently, and despite all the terrible news and the stress around the new normal, I wanted to share with you a dear place that stole my heart: Soorts-Hossegor. A commune in the Landes department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France (20 km north of Biarritz), Hossegor is a well-known seaside resort with some of the best surfing in the world. It also has the most beautiful and unique sand beach with no coral or pebbles. Because of its worldwide reputation as a surfing destination, Soorts-Hossego is filled with a sporty chic vibe, a certain type of coolness that you won’t find elsewhere.
One restaurant that I enjoyed while being there is Le Bistro Balneaire. The food was absolutely delicious and the service incredibly nice. Scroll through for a glimpse of this beautiful place.
